Dino trap uses your phone's camera to make dinosaurs appear in the camera view. A radar image will appear and expose small red dots where a dinosaur is hiding. Moving the phone towards a red dot will cause the dinosaur to appear in the view. A capture net will also appear. Drag the net onto the moving dinosuar to capture the dinosaur. Some dinosaurs require more than one net to complete the capture.
After capturing a dinosuar educational information about the dinosaur will be presented. Audio playback is available if the sound is turned on.
One of the enabled educational activities will randomly be presented as you continue play. You can use Settings to control what educational activites occur. Additionally you can disable the dinosaur capture feature and focus solely on an educational feature such as practicing your multiplication.
Use the capture net to capture the correct answer to the education activity questions.
If you have sound turned on, audio feedback will occur during the course of play.
Use this feature to review what dinosouars you have captured, see all dinosuars currently published to the game or view the dinosuars you have yet to capture. You can also access the education information about each dinosaur from here as well.
In Setting you can enable or disable the following features:
Purchase additional capture nets or for a small monthly price of .49 USD, purchase an auto-renewable subscription for uninterrupted play and periodic downloads of new dinosaur content and updates. Your subscription will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase and automatically renews monthly at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Your subscription may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. A parent gate feature is installed, as required by Apple, to access the Supplies and Setting features. You can also create a parental PIN at anytime.
The parent gate consists of touching three geographical shapes in the correct order. Some review of these shapes might be necessary. Just remember that an octogon has 8 sides like a stop sign. A pentagon has five sides. The top of the trapezoid is shorter.
If you installed the app and there are no dinosaurs, you can delete the app and re-install.
An available internet connection is required to download the dinosaur content.
If you created a paraental PIN and have forgotten the PIN, just make several attempts and you will be prompted to complete the parental gate using the geographical shapes to reset the PIN.
